500 Monthly Meals
Each meal will include two individually wrapped tacos and a drink, fully sponsored by Dos Tacos. The recipients of these meals are Texas Children’s Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. These meals will directly support families—primarily caregivers, but also patients—who often lack the funds to purchase food at the center. As a result, many go without. Providing these meals helps reduce that burden and ensures they have access to nutritious and convenient options during difficult periods.
Dos Tacos
The restaurant was founded by Omar Aveces, who turned his personal battle with cancer into a mission to create his dream taqueria while giving back to the community through charitable efforts.
